Six Pounds of Taco Meat in a Five Pound Pan!

So sometimes I can be an overachiever when cooking large quantities. I decided to cook Taco Meat. The kids and their friends like it, and we have Taco Nights once in a while. I may have gotten carried away here.

Six pounds of ground beef, cooked and drained, to which I added four large diced onions.

I added the spices, and as you can see, I had to stir carefully. I let it cook until the onions are barely noticeable.
• 6 pounds of ground beef
• 4 large onions, diced
• 28 oz. tomato sauce
• 1 1/2 cups low sodium soy sauce
• 2 tbsp. Cumin
• 5-6 tbsp. Chili Powder
I use mason jars and then freeze.

Ten meals, 9 one pint jars and a single 1.5 pint (when the kids come over).
