Marking Food…… Spaghetti/Chili/Salsa

We seldom cook for just one meal.  Often we will double or triple the ingredients and freeze the leftovers into portions that work for our family.

When I first started this practice, I put the leftover sauces in freezer bags. When I didn’t feel like cooking, I would just grab a bag of sauce, heat and serve.

One day, in big a hurry, I grabbed a bag of spaghetti sauce and off I went.  Dinner came, and we had with pasta with chili on it…. Time for a frozen pizza!!

I use this system on a few different packages.
